Project Life: Week 30

Week 30 (July 22 – July 28)

And now we’re at week 30. Documenting these summer months has been and continues to be so much fun. It might seem silly that I’m taking so many very similar pictures, but there’s a method to the madness. It’s no secret I struggle through February to May living in the PNW. My hope is that next year when I’m having a hard time I’ll be able to look through all these weeks. I’ll remember that for a pretty decent chunk of the year there is nowhere better to live, that we eat so many meals outside, that it stays light out for 18 hours a day, that we walk everywhere, that we BBQ nonstop, and that the sun shines every day.

What happened this week: We had friends over for a BBQ and used our fire pit for the first time to make s’mores. We had new bedroom furniture delivered and after an epic trip to IKEA filled rooms with lamps and other accessories. And we got outside as much as possible. I had dinner with a good friend from San Francisco who was in town for work.

Out of the norm: I created a little insert of the three parks we visited this week. I cut the “Remember This” off of a journal card and stapled it to the insert to use as a tab.

Supplies used: Seafoam project life kit; the Today I and July calendar cards, We Were Here badge, and letter stickers are from the Studio Calico July kit; the See Go Do card is from an add-on kit to the July SC kit but looks like it’s no longer available.

I finally figured out the settings required to open the pictures larger and in a new tab. They should all be clickable now.
